Film très lent dans lequel il ne se passe pas grand chose. Par contre, le sujet du film était intéressant. Un film à regarder un dimanche après-midi pluvieux à la télévision.
Un couple décide de consulter un spécialiste après 31 ans de mariage pour lui redonner vie. Formulation de solutions simplistes, interprétations correctes, mais rien pour venir chercher le spectateur.
Très bon film et acteurs fabuleux! Interprétation très fine et l'espoir...
Honnêtement, c'est vraiment pas le genre de film qu'on aime regarder pour ce changer les idées! Le jeu d'acteur est bien mais le sujet et le scénario sont plates!

Ce film est un pur chef d'oeuvre! Quel talent, performance des 2 acteurs principaux extraordinaire!
Oui, en espérant que l'espoir est à Hope Springs et non dans ce film sorti tout droit d'une autre époque révolue et passée. Que de malaises et d'ennuis dans ce navet beaucoup trop long et insignifiant dans une fin ultra prévisible et sans originalité. Chose peu surprenante: Meryl ne sera pas de la compétition des statuettes en 2013 et Tommy Lee est bon pour la retraite.

Un peu long. Il y a quelques scènes comiques, mais sans plus... De plus, la fin est très décevante. Il n'y a pas de dénouement et aucune raison profonde au changement. Le personnage de Tommy Lee Jones passe le 7/8 du film à être désagréable et change subitement de comportement aux 5 dernières minutes. On a l'impression qu'il ne savaient pas comment finir le film... C'est malheureusement décevant, malgré la brochette d'acteurs incroyable.
L'histoire d'un couple qui essai de retrouver la "flamme" perdue. Pas terrible, je ne m'attendais réellement à devoir subir une thérapie de couple pendant 90 minutes sans mentionner les scènes érotiques/ geriatric sex (ouf) Non... personnages trop stéréotypés du vieux gripette et de la gentille dame trop timide qui fait tout pour faire plaisir à celui-ci sans que celui-ci y mette trop d'effort à lui retourner la pareil (tant toutes les sens de la phrase) Ouf ouf et j'pourrais-tu revoir ce temps perdu s.v.p.!
La réalité quoi:) Touchant et drôle à la fois!

Très beau film interprété par deux acteurs terriblement talentueux. On a pas l'habitude de voir Tommy Lee Jones dans ce genre de rôle mais il est excellent et Merryl Streep est très crédible. Très bien ficelé et très touchant. On rit mais on réfléchit aussi. J'ai bien aimé l'approche.
Je suis allé au cinéma dans le Vermont avec mon père un jeudi après midi, pas beaucoup de monde, 8 personnes pas très dispendieux pur aller au cinéma 13.00 dollars pour 2 personnes et 2 grand coke pour 2.50 taxe incluse au cinéma bateau rouge... et aussi l'histoire du film est très bonne à voir si vous pensez rompre dans votre couple car bien des personne aimerait avoir une personne dans leur vie de tous les jours et faire des sorties au cinéma resto faire du sport aller en voyage avec elle ou lui donc avant de rompre avec la personne qui est dans votre vie, allez donc voir le film ou encore louer le film au club video et comme disait leur coach de vie j'ai un exercice à faire pour vous, regardez le film ensemble et donnez-moi des nouvelles à ce sujet là, merci d'avoir pris le temps de me lire.
C'est rare que je dis cela, mais j'ai adoré ce film. J'ai ri ou souri du début à la fin. Les acteurs sont extra et tout est tellement réel à la vie actuelle. C'est certain que je vais revoir ce film.
Très bon film; beaucoup de réalisme. Il peut se passer tellement de chose en 31 ans de mariage et c'est si facile de prendre de la distance, si les deux partenaires n'ont pas le constant souci de ranimer la flamme. L'amour de ce couple traditionnel s'est éteint et cela prend du courage de part et d'autre pour renouer. Les acteurs ont merveilleusement bien joué leur rôle.
Attiré par ce film parce que Meryl Streep y joue, je suis déçu en général du film. Joli film pour un dimanche après-midi, sans plus. Seulement si vous êtes un fan dévoué de Meryl Streep. Elle est magnifique comme toujours. L'histoire aurait pu être épicée de plus d'humour. Belles images du Connecticut.
A voir si on a déjà vécu en couple et que ça dérange de vieillir avec la perte de l'amour qui s'effrite.
Ce film traite de la disparition du désir dans un couple marié depuis plus de vingt ans qui tente un processus de reconnection. Généralement, au départ des enfants du nid familial, la femme dans ce genre de couple repart ou se fait larguer car le libido et les intérêts des deux partenaires diffèrent et la communication semble disparaître. Ce n'est pas un sujet nouveau mais les personnages sont très crédibles. Il y a quand même une bonne analyse psychologique de l'individu qui radine et qui est très conservateur dans ses habitudes et l'autre qui veut essayer de nouvelles choses. Film toutefois assez sombre avec quelques lueurs d'espoir vers la fin.
C'est tout simplement merveilleux comme film!

Bof, c'est vraiment un drame. Il n'y a rien de drôle dans cette histoire. Je m'attendais à rire un peu mais pas du tout ni aucune personne dans la salle. C'est lent et long. J'ai failli partir avant la fin. Steve Carrell est vraiment sérieux là dedans. Il fait des films plus drôles d'habitude. Bref j'ai été un peu déçu. Attendez qu'il sorte à Super Écran.
Très beau film, mérite le déplacement histoire émouvante de couple plus âgés mais le public cible est possiblement plus âgé aussi je dirais 40 et plus. Beaux jeux de tous les comédiens.

Ce film est très intéressant, il y a surtout de l'intrigue ce que la plupart des individus aime dans un film. Ce film est pour les personnes qui aiment les histoires d'amour, c'est une histoire qui est définie par des hauts et des bas, comme une vie réelle. Ce film est bon, il en a valu la peine que j'ai payé ce billet de cinema car j'ai bien aimé. Je conseille ce film aux adolescents [qui] veulent être touchés. :)

Un excellent film réaliste avec de bons acteurs. Beaucoup d'émotions. C'est à voir.
En lisant les commentaires tout le monde parle d'un public cible. C'est évident que les couples ensemble depuis plus de 20 ans se reconnaîtront plus facilement. Célibataire, dans le trentaine, je ne me suis pas sentie exclu! J'ai aimé voir cet homme et cette femme tenter de rallumer la flamme. La perte du désir, c'est ce qui arrive dans tous les couples, une fois la routine installée. Alors que vous ayez 30 ans ou 50 ans que vous soyez en couple depuis 1 an, 30 ans ou carrément célibataire, vous serez de toute façon enchanté.
Tout d'abord, c'est un film qui traite d'un sujet original et intéressant. C'est drôle, tout en demeurant sérieux et touchant, et les gags ne sont pas stupides ou trop faciles. Le jeu des acteurs est également très bon, ce qui apporte sans aucun doute beaucoup au film. C'est un film qui fait beaucoup rire, mais aussi réfléchir.

Pour aider à comprendre la routine, quoi de plus beau. Moments très drôles et très véridiques.
Je suis dans la soixantaine et bien je ne me reconnais pas. Trop pudique la madame, elle aurait eu intérêt à avoir plusieurs expériences sexuelles dans sa vie. Elle aurait été moins poignée. Le jeu des acteurs : rien à dire à part excellent. Longueur et longueur. A l'écoute des rires dans la salle : hum! Pas fort.
Très bon film à voir. Drôle et réaliste.
Bon film, Meryl Streep est tout bonnement excellente dans ce rôle de femme dans la cinquantaine, physique y compris, elle m'a jeté par terre, quelle actrice! Parfois drôle, parfois triste, la réflexion que le film engendre vaut la peine, il montre la réalité de gens qui s'aiment depuis trop longtemps et qui ne savent plus vraiment se regarder, à voir!
Trop bon!!! Meryl Streep est égale à elle-même, i.e. superbe!!! Tommy Lee Jones est tellement vrai dans son rôle de mari bourru et attaché à sa routine... et l'histoire est... si réaliste!!! J'y retourne!!!

Cela est très divertissant tout en apportant une prise de conscience sur la réalité actuelle des couples. Le thérapeute est vraiment bon dans son orientation tout en douceur. Cela démystifie la thérapie car aujourd'hui c'est encore tabou ce n'est pas un automatisme. Que le couple soit en santé ou non je crois qu'ils ont intérêt à voir ce film car il démontre le courage de vouloir changé son état et ne pas tolérer des conditions malsaines qui amènent les gens à se détruire. Dans le film à certain instant j'étais mal à l'aise pour eux. C'était agréable de retrouver Tommy Lee Jones dans cette interprétation tout vulnérable rien à voir avec le héros des films de guerres. Méryl Streep toujours aussi jolie même à cette âge, elle vieillit bien.
Drôle, j'ai ri à en pleurer! Un bon divertissement. On regarde les vieux couples d'un autre oeil!!!

Ouf. Quel mauvais contre-emploi pour Steve Carell. Je m’attendais à rire et il n’y a vraiment rien de drôle dans ce film ni dans la performance de ce dernier. La bande annonce présente ce navet comme une petite comédie pseudo-romantique sur un vieux couple. Mais c’est désastreux, pas amusant, pas même sympathique. Ces vieux amants ne se désirent plus, enfin, lui plus qu’elle. Et elle s’accroche. C’est pathétique. Finalement, tout rentre dans l’ordre, soyez rassurés. Pourquoi Meryl Streep a-t-elle accepté ce rôle? Une grande perte de temps.
