The wildest, wickedest, most exciting action flick that doesn't involve superheroes, Jedis or matrices since The Rock. MI3 is this close (holds forefinger and thumb half an inch apart) to being a 10, but it falls short mainly due to the frenetic, shaky camera work which will never cease to irritate me, and another tiny detail that never gets resolved in the film. Other than that, what we have is an action movie with some of the most well-thought out set pieces ever and one of the top 5 movie villains of all time played by the world's greatest actor Philip Seymour Hoffman. It's a delicious piece of movie-making that completely whoops the intriguing yet slow MI-1 and the over-the-top, two gun, slow-motion, bird-filled, John Woo piece of junk MI-2. Keep going, JJ!
