Professional movie critics have more taste than I do. The professionals rate this movie at an average of 3.5 on 10. Clearly they must have more taste as I rate this at a 7. However it is clear to me, given that consistently I derive twice the entertainment value from movies than do those with more taste, I would prefer to be tasteless me, rather than a more tasteful critic. I enjoyed Wolverine. My enjoyment is no doubt helped by the fact that I enjoyed the first two X-Men movies a lot and that Wolverine has been one of my favorite comic book characters for the last forty years. If you have any reason to also enjoy the character of Wolverine, you likely will derive enjoyment from this movie. Did they knock it out of the park? No. But I don't need that kind of game winner to enjoy myself.
