Ben Affleck's overall directorial instincts are sound; breathtaking car chases and ear-rattling shoot-outs are thrillingly executed. Well rounded acting performances especially Jeremy Renner. Affleck's battling 2 for 2 now with "Gone Baby Gone" and "The Town" as a director. He's not as solid as his buddy Matt Damon in acting talent, but could become a pretty good director if he keeps it up.
